1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the ExpertGrain mobile application, website, and related services (“Platform”).
By accessing or using ExpertGrain, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Service Description
ExpertGrain provides market-intelligence tools for grains and oilseeds, including:
Futures and FX market data (delayed)
Indicative physical and freight prices
Market news and analytics
Dashboards, alerts, and WhatsApp notifications (optional)
Proprietary models and tools
ExpertGrain is an informational service only.
It does not provide financial advice, trading recommendations, brokerage services, or investment services.
3. Access and Accounts
To use the Platform, users must create an account and provide accurate information.
Authentication is securely handled through Auth0.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
We may suspend or terminate access if:
You violate these Terms,
You misuse market data, or
You breach your commercial contract with ExpertGrain.
4. Commercial Agreements
Access to ExpertGrain is provided under individual or company-level commercial agreements signed separately with ExpertGrain.
These Terms complement (do not replace) your signed contract.
Where there is a conflict, the commercial contract prevails.
5. Market Data & Intellectual Property
ExpertGrain displays market information licensed from third-party sources, including but not limited to:
CME Group
Euronext
MIAX Futures
Barchart Inc.
Verified industry contributors
All such data is protected by copyright and used under license.
You may not:
Redistribute, resell, copy, or publish market data outside ExpertGrain
Extract data systematically or use automated tools
Create derivative works from licensed data except where explicitly permitted
Use the data to power external applications or trading systems
ExpertGrain’s proprietary analytics, models, dashboards, and derived data remain the exclusive property of ExpertGrain.
6. WhatsApp and Electronic Communications
WhatsApp alerts and notifications are optional and require explicit opt-in.
By opting in, you authorize ExpertGrain to send informational messages through its verified WhatsApp Business account.
You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing info@expertgrain.io.
ExpertGrain does not guarantee uninterrupted delivery or availability of WhatsApp communications.
7. Use Restrictions
You agree not to:
Misuse or reverse-engineer the Platform
Attempt to access data or features you are not authorized to use
Circumvent technical protection measures
Use the Platform for illegal or abusive purposes
Upload harmful content, malware, or unauthorized data
ExpertGrain may suspend accounts suspected of violating these terms.
8. Accuracy and Disclaimer of Liability
All information provided by ExpertGrain is for informational purposes only.
We do not warrant that:
Market data is error-free, complete, or updated in real time
Derived values match actual transaction prices
News or insights are complete or suitable for trading decisions
ExpertGrain and its licensors are not liable for:
Trading or commercial losses,
Decisions taken based on the data,
Delays, interruptions, or inaccuracies,
Indirect or consequential damages.
Your use of the Platform is at your own risk.
9. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Maintenance, outages, technical issues, or third-party failures may temporarily affect service.
10. Termination
ExpertGrain may suspend or terminate access if:
These Terms are breached
Your commercial subscription expires or is terminated
Required by law or by third-party licensing terms
Users may request account deactivation by contacting info@expertgrain.io.
Data retention and deletion follow the rules described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update the Platform, features, or these Terms at any time.
Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notifications.
Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lisbon, Portugal, unless otherwise agreed in your commercial contract.
